Steve's Next Top Module

The party enters the next chamber which is surprisingly inviting for a dungeon room. The room itself is a wide half dome that is warmly lit by brass braziers that hang from the ceiling. Four pillars support the ceiling and curious patterns spiral up each one. At the center of the chamber is a man and four women, two are dancing whimsically around slender poles that come out of the floor while the others watch from green cushions and satins that are piled there. The women are tall and lithe and wearing only shear fabrics that floats gracefully as they move. The man at the center of all this is sleepily watches, clapping his hands (which are covered in rings and feature long fingernails) and laughing oddly (his Fu Manchu style moustache dancing as he does so). He smokes from a hookah and between him and the incense in the braziers, the room has a definite haze to it. Music is being played by an ugly halfing near one of the support columns near the back paying a recorder. There is also a large stone table near the back that isn't being used for anything.

Upon spotting the party, the women who are sitting will approach and invite you to sit and frolic with them. They have wine and invite you to drink and recall your adventures from the chambers beyond. They will present their master as his excellence, Fijito Condiss. Once they have the party seated and comfortable they will listen, push the wine and eventually try to seduce its members (including females).

Should they succeed or if the party decides to push them away/fight in any way they will attempt to bite, the priority being combat oriented characters.

The people in the room are in fact Yuan-Ti snake people in disguise. Fijito is a wizard and has placed an illusion on his concubines to make them appear as beautiful women. Any bites are poisonous, the wine is not but it is still potent.

Once challenged their true snake people forms will be revealed. Fijito Condiss' haughty laugh will transform to a rasping hiss and he will rise and slither back, slinging deadly spells past his warrior women. At least two will slither up the poles they were using to dance and retrieve bows from compartments in the ceiling. They can stay there with their tails and fire from there. The women who sat with Condiss will reach under their cushions and draw wicked curved blades.

The snakes will not fight to the death, but retreat out hidden holes at the base of the wall, cursing in their vile tongue.

Anyone who glances toward the back of the room will see that the halfling has stopped playing and is in fact chained to the nearest column and is frantically motioning toward the stone table. He is magically silenced.

Should someone inspect the table, they will find the halflings short sword, Mongoose, which has the reptile-bane enchantment. If the snakes are defeated the magic on him is lifted and he will direct the party to the secret lever that opens the exit to the room behind the stone table.
